I had a brief look at LUMINAR FLEX - I am interested in playing with it a lot more but here are some of the Reasons I am finding it SUPER Interesting:

1. I can use Adobe Lightroom which I am comfortable with but have the Power of Luminar BUILT IN!
2. I can Edit in Lightroom and send COPY including Edits to Luminar Flex - letting me do starting Edits in Lightroom and continuing in Luminar Flex (and later come back to Lightroom and compare to the Lightroom only edits).
3. You can Stack Tools in Luminar and brush in or use Gradients to show parts you want.
4. AI Tools can make massive and really Quick improvements.
5. I mentioned AI versus Presets earlier - with Luminar you GET BOTH!
6. Presets called Looks in Luminar can be Dialed back to any strength AND can be Stacked.

I am liking Luminar more and more and will be doing a lot more experimenting.
